hmmm... Acura and fun... For their execs its probably just a line of wacky and fun colors - like bright metallic blue and not-forest-green. They're a daring group.
The NSX doesn't count since we all know it's more Honda than Acura, they just had to put the Acura badge on it to appease the execs.

An ILX Type-R would make more sense, given that they were touting the ILX as the new Integra.
Even with a Type R model though, I don't know that the ILX will ever strike me as a successor to the DC2 Integra or DC5 RSX.
Maybe if they bring back Championship White...
